Headland is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Alex Smith in the role of Specialist Services Manager. Alex will help ensure the smooth flow of the post-excavation process, from completion of fieldwork to publication. He comes with an impressive CV having undertaken the role before for one of the largest archaeological contractors in the UK. Alex has also spent the last 5 years on a Leverhulme-funded project using commercial ‘grey literature’ in the analysis of Romano-Britain rural landscapes in England and Wales. His experience in all things Roman and the production of quality products strengthens Headland’s credentials in this area and our ability to win, and deliver, on larger infrastructure projects in England.
