Senior Environmental Specialist
Kate joined Headland in December 2020 as a Senior Environmental Specialist responsible for the assessment and analysis of archaeobotanical material as well as co-ordinating the environmental programme from the Silsoe office. She has worked within commercial archaeology for a number of years as an environmental manager and specialist based in London and has considerable experience dealing with archaeobotanical material, but also in the fields of malacology (mollusca), geoarchaeology, tephrochronology and pollen analysis. Prior to this she also worked for an archaeological and environmental science service based at University of Reading, as well as undertaking postgraduate research at that university.
Kate brings a wealth of experience and a diverse skill set to Headland’s vibrant and dynamic environmental department.
