Rhys is the Human Resources Manager at Headland Archaeology, bringing a broad background in both recruitment and Human Resources across several sectors.

He obtained a Master’s degree in Business Management from Heriot-Watt University, and later a CIPD Level 5 qualification in Human Resource Management.

Rhys began his career in recruitment, working across the UK in the Transport & Logistics, Finance, and Clinical Healthcare sectors, before transitioning into Human Resources with a large construction and waste management organisation operating across Scotland and the North-East of England. There, he developed a strong focus on employee relations, organisational development, and practical HR delivery.

Since joining Headland Archaeology in 2022, Rhys has played a key role in supporting the company’s growth, helping to build a positive, inclusive workplace and ensuring teams across the business are well-supported to succeed.
