GRADUATE ARCHAEOLOGISTS FOR GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY TEAMS
Salary: from £22,601.25 (rising to £23,400.00 once assessment passed) + generous benefits package
Hours: Full time, 37.5h/week
Locations: You will be based out of our geophysics hub in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire but working on sites across the UK
Contract Type: 6 month fixed-term contract with a view to extension

The Role
We are looking to recruit up to 4 Graduate Archaeologists, committed, results-driven individuals, available to start our geophysical survey training programme immediately. You will be based in our offices in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.
The posts are predominantly field-based and will involve the survey of sites, using a range of geophysical techniques but primarily magnetometry, of all sizes across the United Kingdom. You will benefit from using the extensive resources available through our training scheme alongside support from other staff to help develop your early career.
The nature of the surveys varies from small scale projects which may be completed in a day or two to major infrastructure projects which may take several weeks. Virtually all the surveys will involve working away from your office base in West Yorkshire and travelling to new places is a normal part of this role. Weekend working may occasionally be required.

Skills and Qualities:
- A Degree in Archaeology, or in a relevant subject
- Valid CSCS card
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather
- Willing to work away from home
- A “Can do” attitude and willingness to learn
- Good organisational & communication skills
- High level of use of English language
Desirable Criteria
- Membership of the CIfA
- Full UK driving license and willingness to drive company vehicles
- Knowledge of MS Office
